" As soon as I first bitted and backed my youngster, he got his tongue over the bit, no matter how tight I made the cheekpieces, and was clearly not comfortable in a normal French link snaffle. I tried a couple of other bits with no visible improvement. I had bought a Myler Loose Ring Comfort Snaffle previously for his mother so tried him in that and, whilst he took a while to become completely comfortable in it, he never put his tongue over the bit and has now settled to a lovely soft contact. I think it is the combination of the arched arms and the multiple jointed effect which has produced this result and I would recommend the bit to anyone with a "mouthy" horse. "
