By Bombers Bits
A horse shaking its head when bit pressure is applied or its tongue trying to escape the bit are classic signs the horse has a sensitive tongue. With this in mind the Happy Tongue was created, it has a medium port creating space for the tongue, relieving pressure, allowing the horse to relax.
A Ring cheekpiece introduces poll pressure as well creating leverage on the mouthpiece, the 2 ½ Ring version is the softest version of ring bit as the ½ ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll.
All our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:

I have tried so many bits on my horse who constantly throws his head and is overly mouthy whenever any pressure is applied. I bought this bit to try and so far, so good! He is already less mouthy and feels so much more comfortable in himself, he is actually capaple of working in an outline for me now! Incredible what a difference this can make! I'd usually order 5 1/4 inch bits, but went for a 5 1/2 which fits perfect, And be prepared for a happy horse!

My horse and I love this bit. I've always felt I hadn't quite found what he was happiest in. He would appear discontented when I used a jointed bit, though I'm very light in my hands. He would also lean against it and be quite strong at times. He is now very happy with a lovely consistent contact, light in the hand and just very content is the best description. He's a 15.1 connie for reference. Even when I need to take up the contact more, after a spook etc., his reaction is so calm and happy, love it, has made a massive difference to both of us

Honestly, we had tried every bit in the tack room, Neue Schule, Nathe etc and nothing was reducing how 'busy' she was in her mouth and totally refusing to take any sort of contact. The Bit Bank recommended we try the Bomber and it has been a revelation!

After brilliant advice from the bit bank, I tried this bit and it was brilliant. No more shaking of the head and avoiding the bit. Now I have a happy horse with brakes

This is the first bit my horse has not consistently got his tongue over. Lost count of the bits I have tried to deal with his bitting issues. He remains light and comfortable and his schooling is coming on in leaps and bounds now he is no longer resistant.

I was advised by the Bit Bank to try this for my cob who was snatching. It's amazing! He seems to like the tongue relief (he's got a fleshy tongue) which has made a huge difference. He is no longer snatching and is more responsive. It's good for steering and stopping too which helps! Thanks for recommending this bit.

This is the first bit I've used on my horse that he has not managed to put his tongue over. I've tried all different types of snaffles (Mylers, Happy Mouths etc) & universals for when I needed a bit more control. I couldn't believe the difference in his flat work. Soft and relaxed from poll to tail. Have also got brakes now when jumping without him getting upset in his mouth. Thanks for the recommendation
