KK ULTRA bits are the pioneers of modern bits because they have been developed on the basis of scientific research. When the reins are taken up, the middle link – also known as the “lozenge” because of its striking shape – gently rolls over the central part of the horse’s tongue, stimulating its sense of touch.
Due to the upper shank, to which the cheek pieces are fixed, the Baucher bit rests particularly quiet in the horse's mouth. The mouth piece is fixed to the lower ring, providing a close contact to the tongue. Thereby, the transmission of the rein aid can be even more precise.
Only with this angle the middle link lies gently on the tongue resulting in even and constant contact to allow clear instructions through the reins.
