Description

innovative joint, angled forward by 45°
therefore the contact surface of the mouthpiece on the tongue is equal on both sides
enables an even effect on both tongue edges
helps to counteract the horse's natural asymmetry
sandblasting characterizes the unique inclination of the joint
allows direct pressure transmission on the tongue and lower jaw due to the fixed cheeks and gentle pressure on the poll
lies steady in the horse's mouth, gentle on the corners of the mouth, supports sideways acting rein aids

Now also available as an eggbut bit - our popular TURNADO bits. The joint of this line has been tilted forward by 45° to ensure even pressure distribution and avoid palatal pressure. The bit shanks of conventional single jointed bits are manufactured to different lengths, which means that slightly more pressure is always exerted on one side. With a TURNADO bit you avoid this problem. The rotation is characterized by a slightly roughened surface (sandblasting) of the mouthpiece in the middle area of the bit. The TURNADO bit is also suitable for horses with slight tongue problems.
Our SENSOGAN bits encourage the horse to chew by specifically stimulating the flow of saliva. This increases the acceptance of the bits - for a satisfied and motivated four-legged partner at your side.

The classic single jointed eggbut snaffle is an ideal everyday bit and is suitable for a wide range of applications. It is also a good choice for young and sensitive horses in order to develop and promote trusting contact. The fixed side pieces of this bit allow the rein aid to be transferred directly to the horse's tongue and lower jaw. In addition, they are gentle on the sensitive corners of the mouth and offer a slight lateral limitation, which enables a particularly calm position in the horse's mouth.
