A horse shaking its head when bit pressure is applied or its tongue trying to escape the bit are classic signs the horse has a sensitive tongue. With this in mind the Happy Tongue was created, it has a medium port creating space for the tongue, relieving pressure, allowing the horse to relax.

After trying everything I could think of on my young mare and spending a fortune (I literally have a tack room full of bits!) I read an article saying horses accepted Titanium better than other metals. A study confirmed that all horses on the trial went better using them. So I thought I'd hire one to try as I was at a loss to find anything she was comfortable in. It was the best decision I've ever made. She took to it almost immediately and the head shaking stopped and she is or the first time happy in her mouth. Over the course of 2 yrs I'd tried them all and she said NO, until now!!!! Absolutely brilliant, if you have a horse with issues give it a go. She hated the menage and school work and now that is fine too. It was clearly all about the mouth.
