Description

Do you want to create the illusion of a double bridle but without using two mouthpieces?

The revolutionary design of the Neue Schule Show Pelham cheek creates the illusion of doubles but only uses one mouthpiece. This is an innovative, lightweight, elegant design. Traditional Pelhams with a solid mouthpiece and fixed cheeks often encourage the horse to fix and lean. However, the Neue Schule Show Pelham snaffle ring is specifically designed to turn freely, which allows play through the reins. This eradicates any wooden feel, allows more lift from the shoulder and enhances communication. This action is also beneficial for horses that tend to overbend in a curb. The forward cut ported mouthpiece is a very comfortable design that gives generous tongue relief without causing upper palate interference. It has often proven the solution to many long term tongue evasions.

Customer Reviews

Average customer rating:

Bought this for my show cob who can be very strong, and who had learned many bit evasions in the past. He has a large tongue and hates single or double jointed bits. He loves this bit and now works in a superb outline. He also respects it and I can now control him hacking out and at shows. His head-shaking has almost stopped due to the nice wide, forward angled port. In addition to this it is a beautifully made bit and looks lovely in a double bridle. The Bit Bank provide a very rapid service, and if it wasn't for them I would have wasted a lot of money on other bits that I have trialled before buying this one. Thank you!

I bought this for my NF after she kept putting her tongue over the bit after going into open classes and needing a double, this has fixed all those problems! I am now buying another for the full brother who has never kept his tongue under a bit (we've used EVERYTHING out there) and this fixes it all!!

I bought this bit for my shire cross, which I use with double reins, it is absolutely perfect for him.
The bit bank staff were really helpful with some really good advice.

Thank you
